Ian holds a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, and has designed over 18MW solar PV projects. As Chief Technical Officer he has overseen the design of 38 MW of grid-tied rooftop projects as well as the Robben Island solar PV Microgrid. 

Ian manages the Engineering team and is closely involved in the design & costing of the technical solutions for both the large-scale solar farms and the more technically complex hybrid and micro-grid systems. Ian has Designed and commissioned 38+ MWp on 50 C&I Solar PV projects and designed 40+ MWp ground mounted PV projects
