Katherine Persson, MBA.

Project Development Director

Katherine has over 15 years’ experience in utility-scale renewable energy project development, finance and implementation.

She completed her BSc Hons in Geography in 2003 from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom, followed by a Master of Science in Environmental Management in 2004. In 2016, Katherine completed her MBA from the University of Stellenbosch.

Katherine has an extensive track-record in leading and managing project teams, and has directly managed several large renewable energy projects from greenfield identification through to financial close. She is a Certified Expert in Renewable Energy and Climate Finance from the Frankfurt School – UNEP Collaboration Centre.
