Pete Haw

Pete Haw is a Mechanical Engineer; he completed his studies with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town in 2011. Pete started his career as a Bio-medical engineer working on a new transcatheter device for cardiac surgeons at Groote Schuur hospital, Pete then joined SOLA Build in solar PV in 2015. He tackled over 15MW in-land based projects for the company for 6 years in the Gauteng, Limpopo, and KwaZulu-Natal areas. In 2021 Pete took on a senior commercial role in the contracting side for SOLA build in the Cape Town office and was involved in closing 286MW of ground mount projects for private off-takers.
