Robben Island PV and Battery Storage Project Awarded to Sola Future Energy

Sola Future has been awarded a landmark project by the Department of Tourism to Design, Construct and Commission a fully standalone hybrid PV and Lithium Ion Battery System.  The project will be one of less than 20 worldwide of its size and type.  The project will consist of a 567kWp ground mounted PV system, coupled to the island’s grid infrastructure.  The grid will be energised by a Battery inverter which will schedule the injection of energy from the PV, Battery and Diesel.
