1 MWp, AB-InBev Rosslyn Brewery

SOLA designed, built, commissioned, owns and operates the 1 MWp solar PV system for AB-InBev Rosslyn Brewery in Gauteng, South Africa. Rossyln Brewery, operated by the South African Breweries, is one of SAB’s largest breweries, known as “the home of Bud in Africa”.

The solar PV system, which produces around 1.4 M kWh of clean energy per year, is installed on the historic brewery’s roofs. Its installation will save over 1300 tons of CO2eq per annum, providing clean energy to the brewery for the coming years through a Power Purchase Agreement with AB-InBev.
