Naos Solar PV Project One (Pty) Ltd intends to develop a
photovoltaic solar facility with BESS and associated
infrastructure on Portion 1 and 2 of the Farm Waterford No.
573, Registration Division Viljoenskroon, Free State Province
situated within the Moqhaka Local Municipality and the
greater Fezile Dabi District Municipality.

The solar facility will have a generating capacity of up to
300MW. The town of Viljoenskroon is located approximately
24km to the south and the town of Orkney is located
approximately 12km east of the proposed development. The
total development footprint of the project will approximately
be 590 hectares. The Power line will connect the facility from a
collector substation to the national grid by connecting into the
existing Mercury Main Transmission Substation (MTS).
