DSV Park opted to implement a large-scale solar PV system into their new 140,000 m² logistics facility, incorporating a 1.3 MWp solar PV system integrated into the Park’s electricity supply, alongside on-site diesel generators that allow it to safely operate during load shedding events. 

The solar PV system at DSV Park consists of 3700 solar modules situated across the cross dock facility and warehouse roofs. The solar PV installation took 28 weeks to complete and is expected to produce over 2 GWh of clean electricity per year, saving over 1800 tons of CO2eq per year of operation.
