SOLA recently completed a retail solar PV solution for Vincent Park Mall in East London. The retail centre, owned by the Old Mutual Group, will benefit from the 465 kWp solar system on its roof – year round.

A hub of economic activity in East London, the mall uses 9 498 088 kWh of electricity per annum, of which 7% will now be off set by the solar system. This is expected to save 577 tons of carbon emissions, as well as substantial monetary savings each year.

The construction of the project took place over 7 weeks and the installation is made up of 1410 poly-crystalline modules with 14 solar inverters.
