SOLA designed, built, commissioned, owns and operates the 1.3 kWp solar PV system for Aspen Pharmacare in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. The system, which produces around 2 M kWh of clean energy per year, is able to reduce the industrial facility’s electricity load by 16%. The project was built over 15 weeks, using over 4000 solar modules and 11 solar inverters. From the system’s commissioning in September 2019, the plant is expected to provide the factory with clean energy for at least 25 years.
