Marek Raciborski

Marek Raciborski has been with SOLA since 2015, leading the Asset Management and Project Finance teams. With over ten years of experience in energy finance and solar asset management, Marek brings a wealth of knowledge to the team.

Before joining SOLA, Marek worked with Professor Anton Eberhard at the University of Cape Town’s (UCT) Graduate School of Business, analysing investments in energy infrastructure across Africa. He also served as the lead researcher for the International Finance Corporation’s initial report on the Management Contract of Liberia’s electrical utility.

Marek holds a Master’s degree in Energy and Development Studies from UCT.

In his current role at SOLA, Marek leads the team responsible for the commercial asset management of a portfolio of commercial & industrial solar assets as well as utility scale solar assets totaling more than 500MW of capacity. He also oversees capital raising for projects developed by SOLA, with over R10 billion in debt and equity raised to date.
